Delete your account
Your Unistha account was created for you by your school, and the school holds the record it belongs to. Deleting the account therefore goes through the school — here is how, and what it does.
How to ask
- Through your school (fastest). Ask the school office to remove your login. An administrator can disable it immediately from the Staff or Students screen.
- Directly to us. Email [email protected] from the email address registered on the account, with the subject “Delete my Unistha account”, your name and your school's name. We confirm the request with the school and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your login: the account, its password hash and its sign-in tokens.
- Push-notification tokens registered by your devices.
- Messages you sent are removed from your side of the conversation.
What the school keeps
A school's records of its students and staff — attendance registers, marks, report cards, fee receipts, transfer certificates — belong to the school and are kept by it for as long as education and accounting law requires. Deleting your login does not erase a student's academic record; only the school can decide that, under its own retention rules. If you want a record corrected or removed, ask the school office.
Signing out is not deletion
“Sign out” in the app removes the session from that phone and nothing else. Use the steps above to delete the account itself.
